Episode 095: The Book of Judges Part 2. March 15, 2024

"In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Fast forward 3,000 years, and we again find ourselves without a "king" living according to our own ideas of right and wrong. Paul & Mike sit down for Part 2 of their series on the Judges, focusing on a time in Israel's history when men lacked confidence in Yahweh's Word, and relied heavily on their women to assist them in doing what they were commanded to do to save Israel.

You've heard of Oppenheimer in the USA, but have you heard of Heisenberg and what Germany was doing during the same time period? Today, we're honored to have Mitch Utterback in the G Base to discuss the race for the atomic bomb, and the heroic efforts of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) and Norwegian Commandos who conducted daring operations to sabotage the Norsk Hydro heavy water plant and thereby deny the Nazis the atomic bomb.  

Episode 093: Silent Bridge Part 2. February 16, 2024

Rescuing women and children from human traffickers is dangerous work, and it takes lots of detailed planning, resources and preparation to do it right. But what most people, and even some organizations fail to realize is once a person is recovered from traffickers, the real work begins. These victims have been through a lot of trauma and need lots of counseling and love in a safe and secure place, as well as life training so they can successfully reintegrate back into society. Paul & Mike are honored to welcome fellow warrior and good friend, Randy from Silent Bridge (silentbridge.org) back into the G Base to give us an update on the organization and its specialized work.  

Episode 092: Stoicism and Christianity. February 2, 2024

Probably the most dramatic and fully reported event of Paul's missionary career took place in Athens at the Areopagus (Acts 17:16-34) approximately two thousand years ago. What's most interesting about the debate with the Epicureans and Stoics is what wasn't debated; namely the myriad of other beliefs held by the philosophers. The Athenians were eager to learn about the One True God, his Son, and the resurrection. We know many accepted Paul's teachings and joined the Covenant. Today, Paul & Mike are honored to welcome Jason Dougherty back into the G Base to discuss Christianity and the many benefits of Stoicism; two philosophies that have much in common, and why warriors today ought to embrace both to prepare for the inevitable challenges to come.

The famous saying goes, "Those who cannot remember the past, or fail to learn from it, are condemned to repeat it." Seventy years ago, former G man and faith-based political theorist, W. Cleon Skousen prognosticated the Marxist overthrow of the USA, and even warned us how it would be accomplished. Today, Paul & Mike sit down around the G Base campfire with legendary NC Scout to discuss Skousen's work, and provide some insight on the future of America. 
 

Episode 089: The Deer Hunter. December 22, 2023

God said, "Let Us make Man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it." Today, Paul & Mike are honored to welcome fellow warrior and avid hunter, Brandon Reil into the G Base to discuss the importance of hunting, and the many lessons about life one experiences first hand taking part in God's Natural Law. Episode 088: Warrior Philosophy with Jason Dougherty. December 8, 2023

The number 8 is a very special number that transcends multiple cultures. And, the number 88 is considered exceptionally positive, bringing opportunity and success. So it's only fitting that on this 8th day of December, we invite fellow warrior poet, Jason Dougherty into the G Base to discuss faith-based stoicism or what is commonly referred to as the "Warrior's philosophy". We're confident Episode 88 will live up to its high expectations. Enjoy.

Episode 087: Financial Underground with Nick Giambruno. November 24, 2023

In 1971, President Nixon cancelled the direct convertibility of dollars into gold due to declining gold reserves. Since then, most countries have adopted fiat monies that are exchangeable between major currencies but don't possess any intrinsic value of their own. Today, Paul & Mike are honored to have our very own "Mr. Green," Nick Giambruno come into the G Base from the Financial Underground to help explain the situation, and what Pinelanders ought to be doing now to help prepare for economic hardship and a collapsing dollar.  

Episode 086: Leadership with Terry Peters. November 17, 2023

There's a lot a leader can learn from thinking about a listening and observation post, or what is commonly referred to in the military as an "LP/OP". The key to success is to be very quiet and use your senses to detect the enemy before they detect you, to provide early warning and reaction time for friendly forces. Today, Terry Peters joins Paul & Mike in the G Base to share a little wisdom about the power of listening and learning from others, especially our subordinates. Being a good listener provides leaders what they need to know, and also provides leaders time to take appropriate action in order to benefit the individual and the overall team.
